When Soldiers To Sidelines CEO, Harrison Bernstein thought about who would be the best person to lead STS Soccer it didn’t take him long to land on performance specialist and former college coach – Ben Freakley.
Freakley, has spent his career working with elite athletes and soldiers.
The success of the seminar was rooted on the formula of curriculum, talent and incredible participation by the 100+ attendees.

The seminar kicked off with a bang on opening day with an action packed program of high human skills and soccer theory setting the tone. Then to cap off the day, NY Red Bull Head Coach, Troy Lesesne of Major League Soccer, delivered a powerful segment leaving everyone longing for more.
On Monday, James Madison University Head Women’s Soccer Coach Josh Walters delivered Principles of Attack and then the attendees had an intimate “Ask the Coach” session with Atlanta United’s Jack Kimber.

Wednesday’s heavy hitting lineup featured Tampa Bay Rowdie Head Coach, Neil Collins breaking down Systems of Play and Atlanta United’s Rob Valentino discussing Principles of Defense.
Acclaimed author and one of the leading voices in youth sports, John O’Sullivan of the Changing The Game Project, delivered concepts and philosophy on Long Term Development.
Wrapping up the seminar on Thursday was one of the most popular segments, Teaching Set Pieces which was taught by Air Force Academy Assistant Coach, Lindsey Balconi.
