Soldiers To Sidelines (STS) is proud to announce the inclusion of Gold Star Family Members into our populations eligible for our free services in support of sports coaching development.
Founder and Executive Director Harrison Bernstein shared, “Our initial focus was on Veterans and service members. In 2021 we expanded our offerings to include military spouses. I am humbled and excited to expand our service to Gold Star Family members today.”
STS growth since the summer of 2020 has been significant, going from under 100 to now having over 700 Veterans, service members, and military spouses certified as Soldier Coaches. STS’s inclusion of military spouses in 2021 has added sixteen Soldier Coaches in this short time.
Harrison Bernstein also shared, “Our success is directly related to individuals and organizations who share our vision of the three wins associated with STS. Providing renewed purpose, supporting the coaching shortage at the community level, and connecting between our military and local communities.”
