2020 - Facing Adversity with Ingenuity: Adapted to Virtual Certification Seminars, Added Basketball

The COVID pandemic rocked the world, but STS nimbly adapted to this seeming obstacle to its aggressive growth plan. Capitalizing on a reshaped public perception of virtual learning. STS scaled through virtual coaching certification seminars and even expanded the offerings by adding basketball.

From one of the Soldier Coaches that attended the basketball seminar: “This seminar provided the opportunity to get in touch with elite coaches at a high level that otherwise I would have never had access to. Coach Harrison’s breakdown of biomechanics provided me with an explanation of why it is an important topic and how to better convey that to my players. Overall, it helped fortify some of my beliefs as a high school coach and exposed me to new philosophies, which will round out my coaching approach for years to come.” Andrew Vargas, U.S. Army
